Feliks Bogusław was commemorated by Pilecki Institute on 19 June 2020 in Tworki.
Boguś, as he was called, lived with his parents Zofia and Leon in the village of Tworki near Siedlce. He was only six years old when his parents decided to help the Jews hiding in the forest. Every day, he visited his uncle Antoni Krasuski and his older cousin Wacław. Wacław reported later that Boguś was a very clever boy even then. Interest was aroused only by the fact that more and more often he had with him the so-called goats made of bread dough, a regional baked good sold at church fairs, which his mother had to prepare at home. This meant that his mother baked bread much more often than at the beginning of the occupation. On 13 February 1943, the day when the Germans appeared at the Krasuski farm, Boguś was at home with his parents. German officers searched the buildings and found a shelter where Jews were hiding. Boguś’s father managed to escape, and the boy was left alone with his mother. All of them, including the Jews who had been dragged from the shelter, were severely beaten and eventually shot. Zofia tried to cover her son with her own body, but to no avail.
