Results of the 2020 Pilecki Fellowship Program

The Pilecki Institute is very pleased to announce the results of our first call for applications for the Pilecki Fellowship program.

Fellowships will be awarded to junior and senior international scholars who will undertake research in Poland. The recipients of this year's awards are:

Senior fellows:

  1. Agnieszka Kubal, University College London (UCL), School of Slavonic and East European Studies, UK
  2. Markus Krzoska, Deutsches Polen-Institut, Darmstadt, Germany

Junior fellows:

  1. Marcus Colla, University of Oxford, Christ Church College, Oxford, UK
  2. Samantha Knapton, University of East Anglia, Norwich, UK

We would like to sincerely thank all those who applied, there were a great many very interesting and promising proposals, and as always it is difficult to have to turn down potentially valuable research projects. We encourage all applicants who were not chosen this year to apply again in coming years.

Our congratulations to the fellowship recipients!

PLEASE NOTE: Because of the covid-19 pandemic, research dates may have to be rescheduled.
