Damian Sitkiewicz, MA, born in 1983, historian and archivist, PhD student at the Siedlce University of Natural Sciences and Humanities. He examines issues related to the German occupation in the Mazowsze and Podlasie regions during the Second World War. His academic research also focuses on the problems of contemporary archives. The author of more than 70 academic and popular-academic texts, including the books Zbrodnicza działalność Adolfa Dykowa (1907–1943) – funkcjonariusza gestapo w Radzyniu Podlaskim (2019) and a chapter on the wartime history of Kock in the monograph Dzieje Kocka od czasów najdawniejszych do najnowszych (2017). He currently works in the archives of the Międzylesie Specialist Hospital in Warsaw.
