Research Visit of Luke Marlow from Aston University at the Pilecki Institute

From 13 April to 8 May 2026, Luke Marlow, a doctoral researcher at Aston University, will be undertaking a research visit at the Pilecki Institute. The visit is carried out as a part of the Midlands Graduate School Doctoral Training Partnership and is funded by the Economic and Social Research Council.

During his visit, the researcher will collaborate with the team at the Pilecki Institute. The program includes academic consultations, use of the Institute’s research resources, meetings with scholars, as well as participation in seminars and discussions on issues related to migration, violence, totalitarianism, and forms of war and imperialism. Luke will also collaborate with Dr. Ian Garner and Dr. Joy Neumeyer as part of the project From Archive to Network: Mapping and Understanding Connective Digital Memory of World War II in Russia.

The visit is intended both to support the implementation of Luke Marlow’s individual research project and to foster international collaboration and the exchange of experience among researchers.
