Ladies and Gentlemen! On the occasion of the upcoming Easter holidays, I would like to pass on my best and most sincere wishes.
In the shadow of the painful experiences of the 20th century, marked by the tragedy of totalitarian systems that have found their continuation in our present, the Easter message resounds with especial force, as a foundation of steadfast hope and a lesson showing just how current the challenge of maintaining peace is.
May the upcoming holidays bring us all respite from our daily responsibilities and a sense of pride and belief in the triumph of the values which our Patron served, and may the memory of the past become the bedrock for a safe and free contemporaneity.
I wish you joyous meetings with your loved ones, and prosperity in your
personal and professional lives, hoping that you profoundly experience
the mystery of the Resurrection, which reminds us of the victory of light
over darkness and of life over death. May these cheerful days of Easter
be a time of deep reflection on the value of human dignity and provide the strength of spirit requisite to overcome any darkness. May they pass in an atmosphere of peace, mutual respect and gratitude for the good
that we encounter in our community.
