Financed from external funds awarded in open competitions, research conducted at the Institute confirms the high quality of our researchers’ expertise. Applications for funding in competitions are actively supported by the Research Project Service Department. We also invite researchers from outside the Institute who would like to carry out projects obtained through competitions organized by the National Science Center, the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, or the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

The aim of the project is to prepare a compendium of knowledge, in the form of a dictionary, on human losses of the Polish intelligentsia murdered by the Germans during the Second World War.
