KL Gusen as the Site of Extermination of Poles - Instytut Pileckiego
KL Gusen as the Site of Extermination of Poles
The aim of the project is to study the fates of Polish prisoners of KL Gusen.
The camp in Gusen played an important role in the system of extermination of the Polish intelligentsia, which was an element of the genocidal policy implemented by Nazi Germany. Nevertheless, this camp barely functions in the broader collective memory. The monograph planned as the summary of the project will be intended to disseminate knowledge about the camp and its postwar history.
