dr Agnieszka Konik - Instytut Pileckiego
Agnieszka Konik – received her doctorate in Social Sciences in Sociology from the Jagiellonian University in Kraków. Graduate of two departments at the Faculty of Philosophy of the Jagiellonian University: sociology and cultural animation. An academic teacher in 2005–2016. She specializes in issues of cultural identity and social research methodology. She has completed numerous research internships at prestigious research centers, including a year-long fellowship at the University of Crete, a semester-long internship at Indiana University in Bloomington. She has conducted research for a year as a visiting scholar at Stanford University, where she was awarded a scholarship for international students by the Stanford Bechtel International Center. She is the author of numerous academic articles and chapters in monographic works. She conducts research in the field of intergenerational memory transmission and on the attitudes of the clergy (especially female religious congregations) toward Jews during the German occupation.
