My City. My Story | project
The project is addressed to the residents of smaller townships, particularly those from the younger generation. Working in groups youths prepare municipal games for their fellow town dwellers which refer to local historical events from the years 1939-1945.
The project is addressed to the residents – particularly those from the younger generation – of smaller townships. Working in groups and using accounts from the “Chronicles of Terror” database of the Pilecki Institute, youths prepare municipal games for their fellow town dwellers which refer to local historical events from the years 1939—1945. They also take part in a series of lectures, training courses, and studio visits during which they develop their knowledge and acquire the tools necessary to organize the game.
Two editions of the project have been held to date, in 2018 and 2019, involving students from 13 different schools.
