Biographical note

An art historian and museologist. She received her PhD from the Faculty of Humanities of the Catholic University of Lublin. Doctor Stróż-Pawłowska carried out her postdoctoral project at the University of Cologne. As an academic, she is associated with the Catholic University of Lublin and the Higher School of Theology and Humanities in Podkowa Leśna. She served first as manager, and then – once the institution had become independent – as Director of the Ulma Family Museum in Markowa. At the Pilecki Institute, she initially co-created the “Called by Name” program, while currently she is implementing an original research project on places of memory devoted to the Holocaust in the domestic artistic discourse.
