Po II wojnie światowej polskie środowisko muzyczne znalazło się w nowej sytuacji. W 1945 r. powołano do życia Polskie Wydawnictwo Muzyczne i Związek Kompozytorów Polskich, powstawały filharmonie, orkiestry i wyższe uczelnie muzyczne. Jednocześnie rząd w coraz większym stopniu dążył do kontroli twórców. Naciski ideologiczne zwiększyły się po 1948 r. wraz z wprowadzaniem socrealizmu. W 1949 r. podczas Zjazdu Kompozytorów i Krytyków Muzycznych w Łagowie Lubuskim uznano socrealizm za obowiązujący także kompozytorów. Jak wpłynęło to na rozwój muzyki polskiej w następnych latach? Jakie strategie przyjęli kompozytorzy? Czy powstały wówczas wartościowe kompozycje? Wykład przybliża sytuację muzyki polskiej w okresie socrealizmu.
Seminarium naukowe online będzie prowadzone na platformie zoom.us w formie webinarium. Będzie zapewnione tłumaczenie symultaniczne, a seminarium poprowadzi Emilia Dziewiecka.
