Tomasz Chinciński, prof. Instytutu - Instytut Pileckiego
Tomasz Chinciński – Historian, Ph.D. in Humanities, Professor at the Center for Totalitarian Studies at the Pilecki Institute, lecturer at the Eugeniusz Kwiatkowski University of Business and Administration in Gdynia. He conducts research on the history of the German minority in the interwar period and the attitudes of Polish Germans during the Second World War. He is also interested in the origins and beginnings of the Second World War, the German occupation of Poland and the functioning of the Polish and German secret and police services in the 20th century. Fellow of the Katholischer Akademischer Ausländer-Dienst in Germany (2008–2009), secretary of the research team (2003–2007) dealing with the Bloody Sunday events in Bydgoszcz on 3 and 4 September 1939.
