Anna Stróż-Pawłowska - Instytut Pileckiego

Art historian and museologist. She received her doctoral degree from the Faculty of Humanities of the Catholic University of Lublin. Dr. Stróż-Pawłowska carried out her postdoctoral project at the University of Cologne. As a university teacher, she was associated with the Catholic University of Lublin and the Higher School of Humanities and Natural Sciences in Podkowa Leśna. She served first as manager, and then – once the institution had become independent – as director of the Ulma Family Museum in Markowa. At the Pilecki Institute, she initially co-created the “Called by Name” program, while today she is implementing an original research project on places of memory devoted to the Holocaust in the domestic artistic discourse.
